How Do We Know If Our Desires Are From God?

Have you ever hesitated to pray for something because you weren’t sure if it was from God… or just from you?

It’s a vulnerable space to be in. On one hand, you have a desire tugging at your heart. On the other, you’re afraid of being selfish or out of alignment.

But here’s the truth: God is not afraid of your desires. In fact, many of them may be part of how He wants to move in your life.

Spiritual Shift

God often plants holy desires in our hearts as part of our purpose. The key is not to silence your desire, but to surrender it—placing it under the light of God’s character and Word.

Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

That doesn’t mean He rubber-stamps everything you want. It means that as your heart aligns with Him, your desires start to align, too.

This is why we pause. We create room to listen, reflect, and ask God: “Is this desire from You? Or is it my ego?”
And as you pause consistently, you begin to notice patterns—promptings that feel more like peace than pressure.

That’s the compounding effect of spiritual sensitivity: one surrendered desire at a time.

Pause + Reflect

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” – Psalm 37:4 (ESV)

Compounding Moment

Take 5 minutes today to sit quietly with your desire. Write it down.
Ask God directly: *“Is this something You’ve placed in my heart?”*
Then wait. Breathe. Be open.
Sometimes the confirmation doesn’t come through a voice—but through a wave of peace.

Soul Check-In

What is one desire you’ve been unsure about lately?
Have you invited God into the decision—or tried to figure it out alone?

You don’t have to be afraid of your desire.
When you pause to seek God’s will first, He’ll either purify it or provide it.
Either way—you’re growing.
And that growth, week after week, is where your transformation compounds.

Manifesting Through Faith: Unlocking Your Spiritual Blueprint

How to Manifest with God’s Word as Your Blueprint

Have you ever wondered if manifestation and faith can coexist?
If you’re someone who believes in the power of prayer, but also wants to speak things into existence—this is for you.

At Rozetta Inspirations, we believe that your faith isn’t just a belief system. It’s a co-creative force. And when you align your thoughts, your words, and your actions with God’s Word, you’re not just manifesting—you’re activating promises that were already spoken over your life.

The Spiritual Shift

Manifestation isn’t about controlling outcomes—it’s about coming into alignment with the One who already holds the outcome. God’s Word is your blueprint. Not just for salvation, but for purpose, abundance, healing, and peace.

When you speak His Word over your life, you’re not demanding—you’re declaring. You’re not performing—you’re participating.

This is where the ‘Power in the Pause’ matters most. The pause before doubt creeps in. The pause before you say something that contradicts your faith. That moment is when you choose to speak life instead of fear. That pause adds up. And here’s the beautiful part:

Those pauses? They compound. Every daily affirmation of faith. Every scripture you whisper under your breath. They build spiritual momentum—the compounding effect that strengthens your mindset and shifts your reality.

Pause + Reflect

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” – Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)

Soul Check-in

What is one area of your life where you’ve been speaking fear instead of faith?
What’s one scripture you can use as your new blueprint?

Compounding Moment

Choose one promise from scripture that aligns with what you’re believing for.

Write it down.

Say it aloud every morning this week.

Take a 30-second pause before you start your day and speak it with intention. Let that moment become a habit—and let that habit become your breakthrough.

You’re not just hoping—you’re building. And with each pause, each word, each scripture, the shift begins. That’s the power of spiritual alignment. That’s the compounding effect of faith in motion.

Every pause is powerful. Every step compounds. Keep showing up.

The Answers to All Questions Lie Within

What if the guidance you’ve been searching for was already inside of you?

In a world filled with opinions, advice, and distractions, we often look outward for answers – turning to others for validation or searching endlessly for solutions. But what if the key to clarity, peace, and confidence was within you all along? This timeless principle, rooted in scripture and explored by thinkers like Neville Goddard, reminds us that God’s presence within us is the source of every answer we’ll ever need.

In today’s post, we’ll explore how to tap into your inner wisdom, apply it to your daily life, and trust the divine guidance that’s been waiting patiently for you to listen. Stay until the end for a tear-away sheet that distills the key takeaways you can carry with you throughout the week.

The Foundation of Inner Wisdom

Scripture teaches us that God’s presence is not external but within us:

“The kingdom of God is within you.” — Luke 17:21

“Be still and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

These verses reveal a powerful truth: when we quiet the external distractions and turn inward, we align with divine wisdom. Neville Goddard echoes this in his teachings: “You are the operant power. You are God in expression.”

This means, we hold the key to solutions through faith, imagination, and trust in our inner voice.

Applications for Everyday Life

1. Pause and Reflect

Before seeking advice or making a decision, take a moment to pause. Ask yourself:

“What does my heart say about this?”

“What do I feel God is guiding me to do?”

This practice helps you develop trust in your inner wisdom.

2. Practice Inner Dialogue

Engage in mindful conversations with yourself. Replace self-doubt with affirmations like:

“The answers I seek are within me.”

“God’s wisdom flows through me effortlessly.”

When you catch yourself in negative self-talk, gently redirect your thoughts toward faith and possibility.

3. Journaling

Dedicate 5-10 minutes daily to write down questions or challenges you’re facing. Then, reflect and jot down any intuitive thoughts, no matter how small. This practice strengthens your ability to hear your inner voice.

4. Ask Open-Ended Questions

Instead of seeking direct answers, pose questions to yourself like:

“What lesson is this situation teaching me?”

” How can I grow closer to God in this moment?”

You’ll find that insights often arise when you create space for them.

Reflections: What Happens When You Trust Within?

When you shift from external seeking to internal trust, something profound occurs:

1. You Feel Peaceful: Decisions feel less forced because they emerge naturally.

How it Manifests:

Decisions no longer feel rushed or overwhelming. Instead, you approach choices with calm assurance, knowing that the right answer will come to you at the right time.

You stop relying on constant external advice or validation, reducing stress and anxiety.

Daily routines become more harmonious because you feel grounded, even in uncertain situations.

Example: Imagine being faced with a tough work decision. Instead of panicking or seeking endless opinions, you take a moment to pause, pray, and reflect. As you quiet your mind, an idea or direction naturally emerges, and you proceed with confidence, avoiding unnecessary stress.

2. You Gain Clarity: Answers surface without overthinking or external validation.

How it Manifests:

Your mind feels less cluttered as you practice listening to your inner voice. Answers no longer feel ambiguous because you trust in the process of inner reflection.

Problems that once seemed overwhelming now feel manageable because you know how to break them down and approach them one step at a time.

You start recognizing patterns, lessons, and divine guidance in everyday events.

Example: Let’s say you’ve been unsure about whether to take on a new responsibility. By journaling and reflecting inwardly, you begin to see how this opportunity aligns (or doesn’t align) with your values and goals, making the decision much clearer.

3. You Build Confidence: Relying on your inner wisdom strengthens your faith in God and yourself.

How it Manifests:

As you experience more success by following your inner guidance, your self-trust gows. You start viewing challenges as opportunities to exercise this confidence.

You speak and act with greater conviction because you’re no longer second-guessing your decisions.

Relationships improve as people sense your calm self-assuredness, making you a source of inspiration and strength for others.

Examples: A friend asks for advice, but instead of doubting your ability to help, you confidently share insights from your own experience. You realize your ability to guide others stems from the same inner wisdom that guides you.

4. You Feel Aligned with God’s Presence

How it Manifests:

Your daily life feels more purposeful because you trust that God is working through you. Even mundane activities take on new meaning as you see them as part of a bigger divine plan.

You find joy and gratitude in small moments because you feel connected to God’s peace within you.

Faith replaces fear, even in uncertain or difficult circumstances, because you know you’re not navigating life along.

Example: While dealing with a financial challenge, instead of panicking, you pray and trust that God will provide clarity. Soon after, an unexpected opportunity or solution arises, reinforcing your belief in diving timing and guidance.

Remember:

By understanding how peace, clarity, confidence, and alignment with God manifest in everyday life, you’ll start to notice these transformations as you practice turning inward. Trust the process, and let these reflections guide you into a deeper connection with your inner wisdom.

Change Your Thinking – Part 1

The Power of Positive Thinking

Are your thoughts full of visions of the future or are they focused on yesterday? Will negative thoughts and worrying add one moment or one day to your life? Not exactly.  Our brains are records of our past and our emotions are attached to those records. So it’s easy to get stuck there and to place that record and emotions on repeat. Now that you know it is normal, we need to consciously be aware of our thoughts and emotions and combat our negative thoughts. We need to unanchor ourselves from the past and focus on a positive future.  Change your thoughts to be positive thoughts. Align your feelings and emotions to your positive thoughts. See yourself in that positive state.

Surround Yourself with positivity

This doesn’t mean that by doing this, bad things won’t happen; don’t pretend everything is OK. it’s about how you respond to the actions around you or towards you. This may be one of the most difficult actions to me; to not take action or calibrate how I respond. When I am successful at managing my response to “not the best news,” it leads me down a successful result. In March of 2020, I did not expect to receive news that the lump I felt in my left breast was due to aggressive breast cancer. In fact, I was joking with the nurse who called to give me the news that they had me waiting and I was fairly in a good mood. When she told me, I had to have her repeat it because I do was too busy laughing and multi-tasking with work. When she repeated the news, I went into “work-mode” where I started looking for something to write with and asking questions on what are the best next steps. There were no tears or disbelief, but what do I need to do to overcome this. By that afternoon, during the 2020 pandemic, I raced to the genetics counselor which is the first step to determine what was the best treatment for the diagnosis. I surprised my husband and said that I had more emotions and cried when I found out my second child was a girl. I giggled and said, well I need this cancer out of my body, I have two young girls to take care of! I had no time to think about dying, I had too much to live for! By the way, when telling my parents, siblings, and aunt, I preface the conversations, that I only want positive thoughts and reaction when talking to me or about cancer and me. The only person who did not listen was my aunt. As soon as I told her, I think she put me in the grave with all the screaming and crying she did. I told her we would talk later when she could do so without talking and when she starts thinking positive about this situation. (The callback when she thought she was ready was no better…lol)

Do it Anyway!

Don’t feel like it, do it anyway; Take care of problems versus hoping that they will disappear; For example, you may not feel like journaling 3 things that you are thankful for today, however, do it anyways. Or, maybe you do not feel like saying sorry or talking through a situation with your significant other right now but if it’s the right thing to do, do it anyway. What are things you can put in place to help with the transition to the “Just Do It” transition? Don’t just do it to get through today or to transition from your yesterday, but for your promising tomorrow. Take control of your today and set up your tomorrow. Yesterday was only a lesson for your today to prep for tomorrow but we WILL NOT stress about it. Do you have a need for an accountability partner? Someone you trust to give you either sound advice or that push you need without judgment when you need it? What about a support group to remind you that your feelings are normal and that it is important to keep moving even when you do not feel like it. The moments when you need to step outside yourself or the self that wants to stay put to be the “Do it Anyway” You! Today, I challenge you to eat the big elephant one bite at a time. Do it little by little. You are here to get it done!

Gratitude

What do you think about when you hear “gratitude”? Do you think of giving thanks and showing deep appreciation in all you do? This will not always come easily because frankly, sometimes we just don’t feel like it or feel thankful whatsoever.

I remember the day I found out that I had HER2-positive breast cancer in March of 2020. Although shocked, my initial response was how thankful I was that I felt the lump in February and that it was during the pandemic. What?! Just days after being told that we all needed to work from home until further notice, I was finding out that I had cancer. I have 2 very young children to live for so I did not have time to be sad or for any pity. My spiritual confidence kicked in right on time. I just wanted to know what were the next steps.

Give Thanks in all Circumstances

Gratitude; finding those silver-linings on a cloudy day. Being thankful, that whatever changes my body would have to go through from cancer treatments, I can still work and go through the changes from home. I was 15 hours from my family since we had just moved to a new state and yet I was thankful. I felt good physically and spiritually. What are you going through today?

Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Know that you are here for a purpose and we are thankful that you are here to read this post. We are thankful that you have breath in your body. Do not worry about yesterday or tomorrow. There is nothing you can do about the days behind us. What can you do TODAY?

What can you do TODAY to step into your purpose; to fulfill your purpose?

Find your heart; find your treasure

Spend time loving yourself. Self-talk is truly acceptable. Loving yourself does not equal self-centeredness or selfishness. Finding your purpose and using your talents is what we need from you. You are needed.

Gratitude in Practice

Let’s try something together. Let’s write down 3 things we are grateful for each night. Next, close your eyes, breathe in through your nose while saying the word “thankful” and breathe out, through your mouth, one of the things you are grateful for. Do this for each of the words.

Let us know how you feel after doing this for 7 days straight.

Thank you for your gratefulness today.

You Are Enough!

Everything you NEED is already inside of you.

You were made perfectly YOU and YOU are truly amazing! You are complete. You are who and what you’ve been looking for. When you were born, you knew you were enough. Do not let society and those around you tell you or convince you otherwise. Return to the knowing and believing that you are enough.

There are events that have and will occur in your life that may cause you to question if you are truly enough;

I am here to tell you that you are enough. We understand that you may feel like you’re not enough sometimes. Combat that feeling right now starting with your words; your tongue is so incredibly powerful!

Let’s stand in front of the mirror and repeat these phrases: “You are enough!” “I love you!” “Your are uniquely and perfectly you!”

Great Job! Don’t question this belief.

You are here, so you have a purpose.

You have a role on earth and you have the requirements needed to execute this purpose inside of you right now. Just like the role of eyes and hands which are very different, yet you need both to catch a ball effectively.

Be Yourself!

You are NEEDED!

When you are trying to be someone else or mimic their purpose, the world is missing out on YOUR purpose, talents, and gifts.

So BE YOU! We NEED You!

YOU ARE ENOUGH!
